This is a snowy city street scene in front of a storefront. The painting shows a central figure walking through a snow-covered city street in front of a store with awnings. The person is wearing a red coat and holding a yellow umbrella, partly obscured by snowflakes in the air. The storefront has two awnings, one striped with green and white, the other primarily white with some orange. Brightly colored items are displayed outside the store. In the background, there are blurred outlines of other figures carrying umbrellas. The style captures the essence of mid-20th-century urban realism with a painterly approach to details and color.
