The image shows an etching of two figures within an oval frame. The main figure is a reclining man with a muscular build, shown from the upper body up. He has one arm around his head and holds a reed or staff with leaves in his left hand. The second figure, a cherubic child, is pouring liquid from a jug into the man's mouth. Both figures are nude, with the man partially covered by a cloth. The background includes foliage and hints of distant clouds.
