This is a drawing of an interior scene with three figures. The scene is set in a sparsely furnished stone room with wooden beams overhead, partially draped with a cloth. At the center, a person reclines on a simple bed, absorbed in reading a tablet. To their right, another figure, mostly naked, reclines against the reader, their long hair falling over the linens. On the right side, a third figure peeks through parted curtains, appearing to observe the scene. The balance between light and shadow, along with the character's postures, adds a contemplative tone to the illustration. The scene feels intimate and historically stylized, reminiscent of classical antiquity. The composition is intricately detailed, capturing the setting's atmosphere.
