Artist, Venetian, 1697 - 1768

The image shows a landscape with a waterway and a structure-filled shoreline. The horizon is below the midpoint, with a line of distant hills meeting the sky. A tall tower is on the right, with smaller buildings to the left. The style is detailed engraving. The color palette is monochromatic, with black ink on light paper. There are boats in the water, people on a raft-like vessel, and individuals wading near the shore. A small dock is visible on the left.
