There is a circular engraved portrait of a man from the chest upward, positioned in the center of a square piece of worn paper. The man faces slightly to his left with his head turned towards the viewer. He has a prominent nose, a slight smile, expressive eyes, and neatly combed hair styled backward. He wears an elaborate collar, likely made of lace, common in historical formal wear, that extends outward with a high neckline framing his neck. The portrait is bordered by inscribed text, set against a background patterned with fine lines and dots. The aged paper background is beige with visible age spots.
