This is a photograph of a shadow on a city sidewalk next to a street. The image captures the long shadow of a standing figure stretching across the pavement in the foreground. A streetlamp post appears in the center of the frame, partially obstructing the shadow. The surface of the sidewalk is textured and shows evidence of wear, with the edge leading to a road in the background. A classic car is visible driving down the street, and the curb line divides the road and the sidewalk. The photograph is taken in black and white.
