The image depicts a group of people surrounding a central figure lying in a sarcophagus. The central figure is reclining with a tilted head and closed eyes, showcasing long hair and a bearded face, wearing a simple cloth that covers the lower part of the body. Surrounding this figure are multiple individuals in various positions, some standing, some kneeling or bending forward, and some embraced or leaning against others. Their facial expressions are solemn, and many have their heads covered with cloaks or shawls. The clothing of the people varies, with most wearing robes and tunics. Among the figures, one woman is seen on the right side, sitting or kneeling next to the central figure with a thoughtful expression. Some individuals in the background appear to stand in meditative or mournful gestures. The setting is rocky, with an arched entrance visible on the left, suggesting a cave or tomb-like environment. Nearby objects include a small, ornate container on the ground near the sarcophagus and what seems to be a crown of thorns. The background features craggy rock formations and archways.
