The image shows two women seated side by side from the waist up. The woman on the left has her arm around the shoulder of the woman on the right, who holds a small book. Both women have curly hair, with the woman on the right wearing a headdress or turban. They have delicate facial features with prominent eyes and wear elegant gowns. A dog sleeps beside them, resting its head on the woman's lap. They sit against a natural backdrop of trees, hills, and a cloudy sky.
