The image shows three figures: a man, a woman, and a skeleton, all depicted in full length. The man wears a fur hat, fur-trimmed cloak, knee-high boots, and armor. The woman wears a gown with puffy sleeves and decorative patterns, with elaborate hair and a jeweled headdress. The skeleton plays a musical instrument and holds a mallet. In the background is a small village with buildings under a lightly shaded sky. An hourglass is placed at the skeleton’s feet.
