The image is an etching showing a landscape view from an elevated perspective. The horizon line is in the upper third of the composition with a faint mountain range and clouds above. In the foreground, there are strokes depicting trees and grassy areas. A line of buildings is seen to the right with sharp angles. Loose, expressive brushstrokes create movement and texture. The color palette is monochrome with shades of black and off-white, creating a dramatic tone.
