The image depicts a landscape scene viewed from a slightly elevated point. The horizon is low, showing a textured landscape stretching into the distance. Intricate brushstrokes create texture and depth in the trees and ground. The monochromatic palette contrasts dark tones of trees and figures with lighter sky and background. A group of figures is near us, engaging in an activity under trees. Cows graze further off, adding to the scene. In the distance, the land slopes towards a misty horizon, hinting at hills or water.
