This is a drawing of two figures. One figure is restrained and the other is wielding a weapon, confronting a serpentine creature emerging from turbulent waters. The drawing features a composition with dynamic movement, shown through curved lines of the bodies and creature's form. Bold, fluid ink strokes and a wash add depth and texture to the forms. The background includes loose, sketchy elements possibly representing rocky terrain and chaos around the scene.
