The image shows a seated man leaning against a rock or architectural structure, with one hand supporting his head. His other hand rests on his knee. He has a beard and curly hair, and his expression appears contemplative as he looks upward. He is wearing long, flowing robes that drape around his legs and feet. Beside him on the ground is an open book. Above him, the sky shows an angel with wings floating mid-air while carrying a sheet filled with various animal heads. Two more angelic figures hover at the edges of this vision, partially concealed by clouds. In the background, there are rolling hills, a tree, and a body of water.
