This grayscale photograph shows a group of women and children on a pebbly beach. There are several woven fishing baskets around them. The women are seated or leaning against the baskets, wearing long, dark dresses with shawls around their shoulders and heads. Some children or young girls lean against the baskets or sit by the women. One woman is pointing towards the sea and appears to be speaking, and the rest of the group is looking towards her. The background features the ocean stretching out to the horizon, with sunlight glistening on the water. A solitary sailboat is visible far off in the distance.
