The scene is viewed from an elevated angle, looking down onto a harbor area. In the center and right side of the image, closest to us, there is a dock with a ship moored beside it, partially obscured by a tall building structure. The ship has tall masts and rigging. The sketch shows fine and delicate lines, conveying the intricate details of the ship's structure. The style of the sketch is loose and expressive, with short, confident strokes outlining the ship, buildings, and water. The color palette is monochromatic, dominated by shades of gray and black against a white background. In the distance, a small triangular shape floats on the water, drawn with a few strokes.
