This is a photograph of a commemorative medal. The medal features a raised design of an eye within a triangle at the top with rays emanating outward. Directly beneath is an altar with the initials "D.O.M." and smoke ascending to meet the rays. The words "PERSPICIT ET PROTEGIT" are inscribed around the top edge, and at the bottom, the inscription reads "A. SICARIO SERVATUS MAI XV. MDCCC." The medal is a warm bronze color.
