The image features two full-bodied figures standing side by side. The figure on the right is in a frontal position, facing forward and with one hand raised in a salute. This person has a large nose, pronounced facial features, and is wearing a tall, decorated military hat with a plume and a patterned emblem. Their hair is short and appears unkempt, sticking out from under the hat. The clothing is a detailed military uniform with buttons and a prominent collar. The figure on the left is shown in profile, facing left, and has a slim build with a defined mustache and a similar tall hat. This person's clothing is also a military uniform, with a belt crossing the chest. The background is plain and unadorned.
