The image shows a wide expanse of water leading to a distant landscape. The horizon line is high in the image, just below mountain peaks. The mountain range transitions from water to sky. The brushstrokes are soft and mimic natural contours. The color palette is primarily shades of gray with some lighter areas. Buildings are seen nestled into the mountains. The overall atmosphere is calm with minimal color contrast.
