Artist, (probably American)

This is a drawing of figures engaged in manual labor, driving stakes into the ground. Several individuals are positioned in a semi-circle, each holding long-handled sledgehammers raised above their heads. A large tent structure is visible in the background. The drawing emphasizes the muscular tension and concentration in the figures, focusing on their collective effort. The use of shading and line work imparts a sense of momentum and strength.
