The image shows a woman seated at a table with her upper body and part of her legs visible. She is leaning her head against her left hand, resting her elbow on the table, adopting a contemplative pose. Her facial features are finely drawn, with an oval face, almond-shaped eyes, and dark hair styled in a voluminous manner, gently sweeping to the sides. She is wearing a patterned sleeveless top over a striped skirt, and there appears to be a long necklace hanging from her neck. In front of her on the table is an open book. The area around her features a table with a textured tablecloth, a pot with large, leafy plants to the left, a decorative vase holding flowers at the back on a sideboard, and a framed picture that hangs on the subtly patterned wallpaper. The background includes a draped curtain and a small section of a mantle with a jug.
