This is a drawing of a shipbuilding scene under a large tent-like structure. Workers are shown engaged in the construction of a ship. There is a contrast between the sunlight coming through the fabric of the canopy and the shadows underneath. The drawing uses strong lines and shading to convey an industrial atmosphere. It depicts the shipbuilding process with detailed construction elements.
