This print shows a group of people sitting closely together on rows of benches on what appears to be the deck of a boat. The benches are slightly angled towards the right, and most of the people are facing forward. They all have pale skin and simple facial features, but they have a variety of hair styles and clothing. Some women wear headscarves while others have their short hair in simple updos. Many of the people wear dresses or shirts and trousers with coats. Most of the people appear to be women and children, although on the right is one man with a long gray beard who wears a dark hat. Another person in a hat stands behind the rows of benches with their back to us, looking off the side of the boat over a thin metal railing. On the right, a large building can be seen across a small strip of white water. On the left, through a window, the silhouette of the Statue of Liberty is visible. A caption at the bottom reads "30,000,000 IMMIGRANTS."
