This is a painting of a rural fire scene. The image captures a scene of a fire with vivid orange and yellow flames against a dark, smoky sky. In the foreground, abstract figures are depicted in exaggerated poses, possibly running or attempting to combat the flames. The figures are simplified with bold outlines and appear to be carrying buckets. The ground below them is depicted in earthy tones of brown and green. The style is reminiscent of Expressionist painters.
