This is a painting of a heraldic shield with an eagle and ribbon. The shield features vertical red and white stripes, a horizontal blue field on top with the letters 'W A R D R A T S M T S.' Atop the shield is a bald eagle holding an olive branch and possibly arrows. Below the shield is a red ribbon with the Latin motto 'E PLURIBUS UNUM.' The background is a textured grey. The style resembles American folk art.
