Artist, American, 1912 - 1956

Squiggling and jittery lines in rust brown curl among black splatters and streaks in this horizontal drawing made with ink on cream-white paper. The shapes are mostly evenly spaced around the composition through there are some more sparce areas at the top center and along each of the narrow sides of the sheet. The artist signed and dated the drawing at bottom left corner: "Jackson Pollock 51."
