The image displays a landscape view from a slightly elevated point. The horizon is positioned low with dark masses in the sky, which could be interpreted as storm clouds or smoke. The brushstrokes are dynamic and expressive, with rapid, diagonal hatching lines. The color palette consists mainly of deep blacks and grays with a few white highlights. The ground close to us is textured with bold strokes, while a distant, indistinct silhouette breaks the skyline.
