This is a drawing of two figures carrying heavy loads beneath a towering crucifix. The central figure is a detailed crucifix placed within a coffin-shaped frame. Below the crucifix are two figures bent under the weight of wooden logs, on rough terrain. The artist skillfully conveys themes of labor and suffering through line work and composition.
