The image depicts a man sitting on a patterned sofa. He is captured from head to toe, with one leg folded over the other and hands resting on his knee. The man has distinct facial features, a serious expression, prominent cheekbones, and a cleanly shaven face. He wears a robe with wide sleeves, patterned long socks, and a dark head wrap covering short hair. In his right hand, he holds a cigarette. Next to him is a white stool holding an overturned paper cup, a stack of papers, and a canister labeled "slim wt." A draped article of clothing, possibly a jacket, is on the arm of the sofa. On the floor next to the stool are a pair of untidy shoes. The background wall is plain.
