Artist, American, 1899 - 1977

The image features bold, dark lines forming rectangular and diamond shapes in an intricate lattice pattern. The central diamond-shaped section has densely packed lines resembling a net or grid. An upper rectangular form contains a smaller figure resembling a stylized number eight. The surrounding grid could evoke a fence or trellis design. The top and bottom edges are bordered by straight horizontal lines, adding a sense of containment to the pattern.
