The image shows a linear view from the ground level. It features a narrow alleyway between two buildings. The building on the left has horizontal siding with an open window on the second floor and a staircase alongside it. The building on the right also has horizontal siding with decorative railing details. A young tree with bare branches is in the foreground, casting shadows against the buildings. The horizon is not visible due to the building's blocking the view. Areas of shadow and sunlight create a monochrome palette that accentuates the textures of the buildings, railings, and natural elements in the alleyway.
