The image displays a landscape scene with large trees dominating the upper half. A body of water with ships and cliffs can be seen in the distant left. A water wheel is visible to the right among the trees. Near us, a group of people, including one on horseback, are gathered near a large tree. The engraving features fine line work creating texture and depth. The color palette is monochromatic, mainly in black and white. The scene harmoniously blends nature and human activity.
