The image displays the lower part of a human arm and hand partially immersed in fine sand. The arm is lying on its side, with the elbow out of the frame, extending downward to the lower right corner. The hand is relaxed, fingers gently curled upward and partially covered by sand. The sandy texture is consistent across the arm, indicating a prolonged period of stillness. The background is entirely made up of sand, creating a uniform, monochromatic setting that contrasts with the skin.
