Sculptor, American, 1928 - 2007

The sculpture is a grid-like structure composed of intersecting lines that form an orderly pattern of squares. It is constructed from what appears to be a lightweight metal or similar material, painted uniformly in white. The sculpture is mounted on a white wall, accentuating the clean lines and geometric form. The design creates an illusion of depth and shadow with each square opening, casting slight shadows against the wall. The simplicity and repetition of the shape draw attention to its form, scale, and the interplay of light. The size of the sculpture is quite large, possibly more extensive than an average human height.
