The image shows a goat resting on a sloped patch of grass. It is depicted with its head lowered and eyes seemingly closed. The viewpoint is slightly elevated, offering a top-down perspective. The horizon is placed towards the upper edge of the image, where the sky and distant blurred trees meet. The trees and vegetation are rendered with a combination of delicate and dense brushstrokes. The goat is depicted with darker shading, standing out in the scene. The color palette is monochromatic, using shades of black and gray. In the distance, a cluster of trees can be seen fading into the backdrop.
