This drawing shows a pastoral scene. Closest to us is a hill with some small, bare trees on the right. Some leaves fall from the branches, drifting towards the ground. A person stands among these trees with their back to us, looking out at the valley in the distance below. On the right, sheep seem to graze along this hill. The wide valley stretches away towards the horizon in shades of green and tan, and the sky above is pale orange with some white and pale-blue clouds.
