The image shows a beach scene with two large wooden boats on the sandy shore. The boats have tall masts and one is draped with a net. The horizon can be seen high against the sky, meeting the distant sea. Smaller boats are visible further to the left. The brushstrokes depict the texture of the wood and the translucent net realistically. The color palette includes soft pastels, with pale blue skies and light sandy tones predominating, complemented by earthy browns and reds on the boats.
