This black-and-white photograph shows two young girls on grassy ground behind a wire fence. The girl on the left crouches on the ground, holding the fence with both hands. She has long, light hair and wears a striped tank top and shorts. She looks to the right, towards the other girl. The other girl is in the center, kneeling on the ground with her hands and forearms pressed together in prayer, her eyes closed. She has dark curly hair and wears a light-colored dress. Both girls have pale skin. The ground is grass covered with scattered leaves, round rocks or balls, a pair of sandals, and a light-colored blanket on the right. Behind the girls appears to be a flat area with a wooden bucket sitting in the grass, and behind that is a wall of dark bushes.
