Lines of darker trees creating a shallow V across the center of the composition are separated by a gap not far from the buildings. Strips of mountains are layered like torn, cut paper along the horizon, which comes halfway up this composition. Dark clouds roiling in the sky above are alleviated by a band of brighter sky along the mountaintops.
