The image displays a coastal village situated on a sloping hillside. Small boats with the names "A.E.10," "S.F.B," and "WATER LILY" are lined up on the grass. The village consists of closely-packed houses with pitched roofs, varying in height due to the terrain. The houses have chimneys on their rooftops. A sandy beach bordered by rocky outcrops is visible in the distance, along with cliffs curving into the bay. The horizon where the sea meets the sky is depicted at the top of the image. The overall color scheme is in sepia tones, creating a vintage effect.
