Artist, American, 1944 - 2017

The image shows a man standing with his back to the viewer, displaying his full body from the rear. He is barefoot and positioned with one foot slightly crossed over the other, leaning with his right arm on a post. The man appears bald from the back, with no visible facial features due to his position. He is wearing only a pair of bright yellow shorts trimmed in white. Slung around the post is a white fabric item resembling a small towel or bag. The background features a large mural painted on a wall that depicts an urban street scene with mountains in the distance and a number of cars parked alongside, including a historical car, a white car of a more modern style, palm trees, and other buildings.
