The image shows a view from a slightly elevated angle, with the horizon placed high within the picture. A church steeple is visible in the distance along with a line of white clouds. Bold brushstrokes create movement and texture in the sky and land. The color palette consists of deep blues, blacks, white, and soft green. A woman in traditional Breton attire is seen in motion, followed by smaller figures ascending a path towards buildings and the church spire. The scene is bathed in muted light.
