This image depicts a pencil sketch of a man from the waist up. The man has an oval-shaped face with prominent facial features, including a straight nose and defined cheekbones. His eyes are focused and his expression is neutral. He has wavy, short hair and is wearing a high-collared jacket or coat with buttons down the front, typical of early 19th-century fashion. The sketch is simple with minimal shading and a plain background. The artist's signature and the year 1830 are visible near the lower right corner.
