The image shows a large, old Spanish-style mission building in the center. The horizon is positioned near the lower third, with the sky dominating the upper portion. In the distance, mountains serve as a natural boundary. The architectural structure has fine brushwork with precise lines to give it texture and definition. Close to us, there are patches of grass and shrubs. Two small figures walk on a path towards the mission. The coloring consists of subtle shades of tan and gray, creating a vintage, sepia-toned effect.
