The image features a large, brown ceramic jug with a round body and a sturdy handle, positioned to the left of center on the canvas. The jug is predominantly in shades of warm brown. To the left side of the jug is the name "P.H. SMITH" written in faint text, while to the right and somewhat lower is "J.W. JORDAN."
