The image features three military figures sketched in detail on the left side. The figures are standing close together and facing slightly left. The leftmost figure wears a soldier's hat and is holding the central figure, who wears a long coat and an officer's hat. The central figure, wearing a helmet and holding a rifle, supports the leftmost figure and has their right hand on the third figure on their right.
