The image displays two men sitting on the steps of a stone building. Their full bodies are shown as they sit next to each other facing slightly toward the camera. The man on the left wears a dark hat and has a noticeable facial expression, while the man on the right wears glasses and a similar hat. The man on the left wears a dark coat and pants, while the man on the right wears a light-colored overcoat over pinstriped pants. Each man wears a pin on their coat. A sign with the text "KING: END RACISM!" is placed against the knees of the man on the left, who is holding a newspaper. Another sign with the text "I AM A MAN" lies on the ground near the steps. The building shows a decorative arched door with intricate glasswork patterning above.
