This is a painting of large industrial spools on a hillside. The scene depicts a group of large wooden cable reels against a backdrop of rolling hills and a blue sky. The painting uses soft, earthy tones with subtle use of line work. The spools are positioned to lead the viewer's eye across the canvas. The natural landscape in the background is rendered with broad, soft brushstrokes.
