The image shows a tree-lined avenue from the perspective at the start of the path. The horizon is suggested by the convergence of the trees and path in the distance. A faint silhouette of a figure walking away can be seen on this horizon. The artwork features fine ink lines forming detailed crosshatching for shadows and texture in an etching style. Evenly spaced tree trunks with contrasting shadows guide the eyes along the path, next to a wooden fence on the right. Vintage automobiles and buildings are visible beyond the trees, on the left side. The color palette is monochromatic, utilizing black ink variations on a cream background to portray forms and light.
