An ornate brass fireplace andiron is displayed with a bulbous, fluted shaft and paw-like feet. It is primarily gold in color with highlights and shadows creating a metallic sheen. The andiron stands upright on a light background, with the ornamental top pointing upwards and the horizontal iron support extending to the left.
