This is a painting of a pastoral scene featuring figures, a horse, and dogs under a blue sky. The image shows four figures dressed in 18th-century attire, amidst tall trees with detailed foliage. A white horse is on the left, accompanied by several dogs around the figures. The trees have rich, multi-colored leaves contrasting with the deep blue sky. The figures and animals are stylized in a charming, naive style, reminiscent of Jean-Baptiste Pillement's work.
